Ruined Photos

My friend Lindsey and I always get teased for taking so many pictures of the two of us together. Well I finally came up with a reason why we have to. The first, is family and friends are purposely trying to ruin them. Second creepy strangers, and sometimes creepy family members end up in the pictures. See I've got proof. Even if it's just getting a foot in the picture to ruin it. Although it's my brother-in-law Ryan who always manages to get his face in our pictures, time and time again.I think the worst is when you get creepy people looking at you while you are taking a picture like these two guys. The guy on the left is trying to be all sneaky and looking out the corner of his eye.

How Embarrassing!!!

I just had the most embarrassing thing happen to me. I’m sitting here at work trying to work, and listening to KBULL 93 at the same time. Well all week they have been giving away Danny Gokey tickets. Yesterday they were giving them away for free at the Big O Tires in Kaysville, but they were only giving them out until 3. I had to work so I was unable to make it out there in time. So over the radio they said if you want to win Danny Gokey tickets text “Johnson’s” with a little message for us. So I texted in,

“Johnson’s, Please oh Please give me tickets. I was going to stop by Big O Tires in Kaysville yesterday but couldn’t get off work in time! L”

The next thing I know Johnson and Johnson are calling me. I got so frazzled and didn’t know what to say. They asked me my name and wanted me to repeat what I texted in. I was so excited and nervous I just blanked out and couldn’t remember what I texted in. (this is why I don’t call into radio stations I get so nervous!!!) Finally I remembered, but I totally screwed it up. They asked me a few more questions and then said, “guess what you won!” I was all, “I won? Woooooo!!!!” and after I said that they laughed at me. I felt so dumb and was just hoping they didn’t put it on the radio. Unfortunately for me they did! I sounded so stupid. Luckily they cut out the part that I couldn’t remember what I texted!

But even though I sounded so dumb, I sure am excited to go to Danny Gokey tonight!!!!!!

Catch Up & Lots Of Pictures

Brandon and I have had a lot of fun the past 2 weekends. 2 weeks ago Friday we went to Lagoon with his company. It was fun even though I don't ride roller coasters. Luckily his friends from his work that we met up with loved them so he was able to ride the roller coasters with them. The only disappointing thing is that Brandon was really looking forward to riding Wicked for the first time, but it was not working.

On Saturday Brandon and I along with our Lindsey and Kyle and Cory and Kendelle played in a mud volleyball tournament in South Ogden. It was a double elimination tournament, and we ended up winning 2 and losing 2. This is the second year in a row we have played and we plan on playing again next year.

On Sunday Brandon's family did family pictures at Layton Park. I don't have any of the actual photo's yet, but when I do I will post some of those. We also ate dinner at the park which was a lot of fun. Here are a couple pictures from there.

Now this last Saturday like most people we celebrated the 4Th of July with yummy food a parade and fireworks. In the morning we had our friends Lindsey,and Kyle and Bob and his girlfriend Victoria over for breakfast. Following that we all went over to the Kaysville parade which is one of our favorite 4Th of July traditions because at the end of the parade it turns into a huge water fight in the streets. Later that evening we headed over to Brandon's parents house for dinner and then went to the fireworks at Davis high where we met up with our friends Cori and Zack, Ali and Blake. (These pictures are way out of order).

What's New

I decided that I really needed to update my blog, because I got sick of looking at my Valentine's Day post. First of all I do have to warn whoever is reading this that I am on Loratab so if something doesn't make sense or is spelled weird that is why.

I guess that is the first thing I can start off with. Last Wednesday I had my tonsils removed. It has not been fun. There is way too many medications you have to take and only being able to drink liquids for 10 days is really hard, especially when your husband walks in the bedroom to be with you and he is eating a huge hamburger with all sorts of good stuff. I glared at him when he walked in the room and he was all oh I'm sorry I forget and he turned right around. Between Brandon and my mom they have taken really good care of me. My friend Lindsey even got a great picture of me, not really but here is what I have been doing for the past 5 days and have at least another 5 days of this.

I know I look totally horrible in this picture but I figured my family would get a kick out of me with my numbing lolipop and my jello!!! And Lindsey's favorite part was my sleeping mask holding my wet rag on my forhead!

On to some more EXCITING news. Brandon and I bought a house a month ago. We are now living in Kaysville! We love the neighborhood. So many people stopped by to introduce themselves when we moved in. It has a lot of young couples living here so that makes it really nice. We have even had some neighbors stop by with popsicles and soup and breadsticks to eat while I've been down. We love our house and feel like we got a steel of a deal on it.

(And just incase anyone was wondering, they took that star with them! :) I sure was happy about that)

It has a nice big backyard that our dog just LOVES. It has a bunch of garden area and about 6 planter boxes that have strawberries and rasberries, and all sorts of good stuff. Brandon and my dad have put a lot of work into making it our own. We ended up repainting the entire upstairs and it looks so awesome now. When I find the battery to my camera I'll do some before and after pictures. We are excited for this summer to be able to have friends and family over for BBQ's!
