This past weekend Brandon and I went with my side of the family to Yellowstone. We do it every year. It was one of my favorite places to go. It has to be one of the most relaxing places I know. While we are up there we go fishing and go into the park and well us girls have to go shopping! We also went to some sand dunes this year, it was a lot of fun. The little kids just loved it, it was like a huge sandbox for them. The kids hated it when we had to leave. Brandon and I drove my car up so that we could save on gas and well it does make it a little more difficult to drive out in the woods in a car but we managed. We learned how to fish tail really well! Brandon and I are excited to return next year. We made a list of new places we want to go see while we are in Yellowstone next year!
This past weekend Brandon and I decided to get a group of our friends together and go out the Davis County Fair and watch the Demolition Derby! They are always fun! Our friend Cori had never been to one and was so worried the entire time that someone was going to get hurt. I think we will have to take her to a few more to show her that very rarely does someone get hurt. After the Derby we walked around the fair grounds and rode a couple rides. I was a little nervous putting my life in he hands of the traveling carnival people or whatever they call themselves, but we made it out safe!
